Tawny is such a bold, badass chick, really liked her attitude, the world needs more women like her. And which red-blooded woman doesn't love her some hot alpha cowboy? LOVED Troy!Giving it a nice 3½ stars because I think there was more to this story and to some characters, for example Teresa. It could have used more dialouges and less description, would have been an easier read. For the most part, I definitely liked it!

Bought the Kindle edition and stopped reading approx. 10 pages in. Here's why:(view spoiler)[ Almost like magic, Teresa's timing was perfect as she dropped the two shots down, before scurrying off to another customer. It gave Tawny a chance to see that Troy had beautiful green eyes. I was in two minds whether to post this review but thought it would help others decide whether this book was for them.I'm very happy to read sexy and erotic but for me, this book was too much. I was hoping for a strong lead character in Tawny but, though she certainly knows her own mind, any woman who can invite a stranger out the back of a bar for unprotected oral sex and be proud of herself, isn't my kind of strong woman. The sexual descriptions are vivid and leave nothing to the imagination.



Tawny is a likeable character; friendly, flirty, hedonistic. For her, a conventional life - settling down, having a family - is not an option. Accordingly, she throws herself with abandon into a series of sexual relationships, eschewing commitment.In this, the first 'Happy Spinster' book, we see Tawny encountering an attractive cowboy, and we are regaled with details of all the naughty stuff they get up to over a twenty-four hour period. You might want to take some notes for future reference.

Im not a regular reader of erotica (actually, this is my first) so I wasnt sure what to expect from Karena Maries The Happy Spinster. What I discovered, to my surprise, was a thoroughly enjoyable read about a woman who is very comfortable in her exceptionally seductive skin.It would be flippant to say that the heroine of this story is an easy woman. On the contrary, Tawny is a smart, vivacious and very sexy woman who is incredibly self-assured and is not afraid to go after what she wants and

ummmm. I finally finished this after it being on hold for a few months. It was an ok read. Definitely some smokin hot sex!! Tawney pretty much jumps into her cowboys man panties about 5 minutes in and they dont stop bunny humping until the last few pages. Unfortunately (or not depending on your mood) that's about all their is to this little story.
