Notice About Books The Fury / Dark Reunion (The Vampire Diaries #3-4)
I came into this series have first watched the television series. While the storyline and character descriptions vary slightly, I am finding it thoroughly entertaining. With that said The Fury and Dark Reunion are no exception. Fans of the television series should look at this origin material (and that in The Awakening and The Struggle) as another adventure or a parallel universe. The plot is meticulously unveiled for the reader and the writing style is so contemporary and refreshing that I find

I'm going to divide this review into two parts, since it's actually two books in one :)I think I liked the Fury more than I liked Dark Reunion, because Elena was such a Mary Sue in the forth book I almost wanted to cry. (view spoiler)[ The woman was -dead- during almost the entire forth book and she still saves everyone. And then get back to life to be with her friends and the man she loved the most. So realistic (hide spoiler)].In the Fury, Elena changes after some sort of dark force kills her.

I'm a bit confused as to why this series is so popular.

I've been whatching the vampire diaries on tv and I thought it was great. It had action and romance in all the right places. So I was super excited to read the books. I usually read the book first before I whatch anything based off of it to see the differences. Im glad I didnt this time or I would have never EVER have seen the tv show. I dont even know why i gave this book 2 stars. It doesnt deserve it. AT ALL. Where do I begin? Alright the characters.Elena- She is a selfish BITCH! all I hear

Ive finally finished the original series of The Vampire Diaries and I cant help but think why do most of the characters here in this series seem to be so judgemental towards Damon? They always blame him for everything, I know that hes cold and everything but I think that hes the kind of person who actually cares but he doesnt let anyone see it. I really liked the part in the Dark Reunion where he helped Stefan when Stefan was about to be killed by Klaus. Stay away from my little brother.Ah

This was as good as the other books in the series. I will admit i was shocked to discover that Kathrine was the Other Power, i honestly thought she was dead and in the past. Guess i was wrong lol. I thought it was interesting having the second part of this book- Dark Reunion, mainly in Bonnie's POV. It showed more insight into the other characters, not being from Elena's. I enjoyed how Stefan and Damon were getting along better, although i have a feeling that Damon hasn't quite given up on the

I started reading the second bind-up of Vampire Diaries as soon as I finished the first one. I couldn't stop reading. Especially when The Struggle ends with Elena's death - theoretically. Because she actually transforms into a vampire. She was almost drown, and she kinda died, but she had enough of Stefan's blood in her veins to help her stay... un-dead. And.. whoa! She thinks Damon is her boyfriend. I still dunno why. Well, yeah, she finally remembered after about 4 chapters, but still...
