As always with Borgess books , it was a break either from reality or very straightforward (somehow dull) thinking. Borges is el maestro. The master of books, the great magician, he could write short stories (or any stories) like no one else. I love the way he writes and I enjoy it even more in Spanish. These stories are just appetizers for what we can expect from his most famous books and I didn't give it 5/5 because these are not my favourite stories of his. I did enjoy this collection of short stories and the common theme of labyrinths/puzzles running through them, although they were very brief, which was a shame. This was my first exposure to Jorge Luis Borges and I would like to read something more substantial from him.The Garden of Forking Paths nothing particularly original or special.
