The Culture of Critique: An Evolutionary Analysis of Jewish Involvement in Twentieth-Century Intellectual and Political Movements
This is one of those books that will change the way you interpret everything else, specifically the political and social changes of the last 100 years. MacDonald explains to the reader that recent developments in fields ranging from psychology, economics, politics, and immigration policies are not part of a conscious conspiracy by Jews to undermine gentile society. Jews are, however, grossly overrepresented in all of these endeavors. MacDonald demonstrates that these Jewish social scientists,
I was worried that, since I already know so much about the topic of this book, that I would not enjoy reading it at all. Was I ever wrong. Kevin Macdonald's academic vigor is a wonder to behold, and his well-sourced arguments are so air-tight that the only way you could not acknowledge their being truth is if you were too afraid to admit it and the implications. The very last chapter is one of the best "Why did the West fall?" discussions I have ever read in anything, ever. The whole book is

Subtracted a star because the writing style can be intimidating, and long-winded. I'm sure that was a choice MacDonald made to drive the point home, continuously, as he lists hundreds of sources and citations that reinforce his point. Impressively well researched - he gives you the answers, but it's on you to ask the big question, the Jewish question.

Commentary As Books The Culture of Critique: An Evolutionary Analysis of Jewish Involvement in Twentieth-Century Intellectual and Political Movements
MacDonald provides a theoretical analysis and review of data on the widespread tendency among Jewish-dominated intellectual movements to develop radical critiques of gentile culture. These movements are viewed as the outcome of the fact that Jews and gentiles have different interests in the construction of culture and in various public policy issues (e.g. immigration policy, Israel). Several of these Jewish movements attempt to combat anti-Semitism by advocating social categorization processes in which the Jew/gentile distinction is minimized in importance. Jewish policy was aimed at developing an America charcaterized by cultural pluralism and populated by groups of people from all parts of the world rather than by a homogeneous White Christian culture populated largely by people of European descent.Particularize Based On Books The Culture of Critique: An Evolutionary Analysis of Jewish Involvement in Twentieth-Century Intellectual and Political Movements
